#551 Hi,
Dropfiles will work with k2 with the next release soon. It will work exactly like Dropfiles in the Joomla core articles.
Dropfiles has been thinked to be as user friendly as possible.
You call Dropfiles from the content editor, drag and drop your files in a category and the files are created.
Save and it's done.
You can see the video demo and the features on the product page: http://www.joomunited.com/products/dropfiles.
Best regards.
Damien

#556 Hi Christian,
The next Dropfiles version will be available next week with K2 integration and themes.
We cannot compare our product with Docman cause it's very different, each extension have own features.
Basically Dropfiles is, in our opinion, more user friendly cause all files can be managed from WYSIWYG editor.
Regards,

thanks... I can't wait. I appreciate your response about docman... but that still isn't clear to me. I understand that docman can act like a drop box and let users submit files and what not which is a unique feature but as of right now not what I am looking for. However, the ability to present files for users to have access to download... now that is a feature I am looking for... and it seems that your extension does this in a cool way. would you agree with my comparison?
I just need this to be clear.. I am sure other people have the same questions. if you can differentiate what the difference is and the strenghts are I am sure it would help your sales.
