as someone mentioned about a year ago, a generally function to add / use dropdown fields would be very nice.

For customizing the selection, we kindly request you to submit a ticket through our support system (Menu Support > Support ticket).
Our dedicated developer will assist you accordingly. However, please note that the textbox search feature will no longer be available if you use the selection at the top.

I haven't purchased yet, but my Excel spreadsheet has drop-down lists for designated field input for many cells. I can't find support for this in any of your documentation, but this thread seems to indicate it is possible.

1. Are drop-down lists supported for cell input?
2. If so, does this import along with my excel spreadsheet? Or would I need to add it back in after import?

Thanks for getting back to me with more information.

1. Are drop-down lists supported for cell input?

On our demo page at https://www.joomunited.com/joomla-demo//droptables/table-theme-demo,
you have the option to filter the table by inputting a value at the top of each column.
Additionally, if you prefer to use a dropdown feature for filtering, customization is possible, but you would need to add the dropdown values in the backend.

2. If so, does this import along with my excel spreadsheet? Or would I need to add it back in after import?

After importing, please ensure to manually add the selection from Excel to Droptables, as it is not supported by us.
