Hi there.
Always good to see the great updates in these plugins.
I saw the one about the ability for people to be notified when files are added. That's great, but I'm aware from past experience with other plugins that have this type of facility, that there needs to be a way to manage the subscribed email addresses.
It can quickly turn into a situation where there are bad email addresses in the list and if the website keeps sending to those addresses, the sending server will be flagged as a spammer. This happens quite fast with Microsoft and Google email addresses.
Another thing is that recipients need an easy way to remove themselves from the list. If they can't then they will flag the message as spam and the same thing happens.
The best solution is if the plugin has the ability to read an inbox and watch for bounces. The website operator also needs to see what is happening and take action as needed i.e. delete or correct faulty or dead addresses.
I know that doing this is not a simple thing to implement, but I need to flag this issue with you regardless as it will start coming up with this new feature.
Regards
Rob
