Textlength of buttons

The text in buttons is truncated after a certain amount of letters. E.g. "Amtsblatt-Sammlu..." instead of "Amtsblatt-Sammlung".
Give the developer of a website the possibiliy, to set the number of letters, after which this truncation happens or let him choose, if truncation happens at all.
