How is security handled by the upload process? Is it through joomla or does it use it's own login security? We have to list a bunch of PDF curriculum for teachers to download. We want to be able to secure who has permission to upload, delete, etc.

Hi,

Permission to download files in Dropfiles are driven by Joomla native access level, you can see that on video demo. But it's not possible to restrict custom operation like delete or edit document. The access to Dropfiles manager can be configured using your editor because Dropfiles is using a editor-xtd plugin.
