How the rating is implemented on front end

How the rating is displayed on the frontend? In a module or in the article directly?
I'm askign because we're using yootheme pro pagebuilder. The pagebuilder only can display the joomla standard votes, not activate the rating itself.

It displays through Joomla Articles, K2,... There will be a Rating Item Setting tab in the Article.
