Hello,

I'm interested in the WP File Download plugin and would like to know if it allows the automatic creation of a private folder for each new user when they register on my WordPress site.

Here are the features I need:

When a user creates an account on my site, a private folder is automatically assigned to them.
They can access it immediately after their first login, without any manual action from the administrator.
This folder must be unique and secure, accessible only to the user and the administrator (no other users should have access to it).
The administrator must be able to access the folder and upload files, which will only be visible and downloadable to the user, but they will not be able to delete them.
The user must be able to upload their own files to this folder. The files they upload must be downloadable and deleteable by themselves and the administrator (but still invisible to other users). Can you confirm if this feature is included in your plugin, or if there is a setting or add-on to enable it?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,

Thank you for your inquiry about our plugin's capabilities!

While our plugin doesn't currently include the automatic folder creation feature you described,
we can certainly accommodate your needs through a manual setup process.

Here's what we can offer:
We can help you set up a system where:
  • Each user gets their own private folder
  • The administrator can access and upload files to these folders
  • Users can only see their own folders and files
  • Users can upload, download, and delete their own files
  • Administrators retain full access to manage all folders and files

Our support team would be happy to guide you through the manual setup process, which is straightforward and only needs to be done once for each new user.
This gives you complete control over folder permissions and access rights.
Would you like me to provide more details about the manual setup process, or perhaps discuss some alternative solutions that might better fit your needs?

Cheers,
Hi, I'm also interested in getting the same result.
