Hi pre-sales team:

We currently use Media Library Folders Pro to manage a very large number of files which are offloaded to S3, and use a custom URL. Before considering changing plugins, we need to assess the impact in time and workload of our developers, and impact to our customers, Is there a simple migration process for physical folders from MLFP to WP Media Folder or a recommended process from which we can determine an impact? Additionally, is there any sort of "free for development" version of the plugin (something that limits number of files possibly) so we can test the process to see if it's feasible?

Thanks in advance, Steven.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

We support migrating data from various plugins including WP Real Media Library, FileBird, Folders, Media Library Plus, and HappyFiles.
However, Media Library Folders Pro is not currently supported for migration. Anyways, we noted that in our planning list.

For testing purposes, WP Media Folder does not have a specific free development version. However, you can explore the plugin's features and functionalities through its detailed documentation and possibly consider reaching out for a trial or development license directly from JoomUnited.

Cheers,
