Hello,

I have a Wordpress website on a not so powerfull VPS. On that website, my workers will be uploading files every day, usually video files, that have a considerable size +1GB Files. They will upload files using the Fluent Boards plugin (Project Management Plugin, similar to Trello) https://wordpress.org/plugins/fluent-boards/ .
My question is, if they upload the files directly on Fluent Boards, will it go automatically to my OneDrive Business Storage, or it will be uploaded to my Server Storage, and then sent to the OneDrive Storage. I'm asking because I need to know if it will use my server resources, CPU Load, Upload Bandwith, Storage, etc... or it will use Microsoft's one.
I'm not planning to get a so powerful VPS because I won't get much user traffic, so if I can save all that resources usage it would be nice.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here about this extension.

WP Media Folder will create a root folder in your OneDrive Business with the name of your site.
While files are stored on the cloud server, we only keep file information on the local server.
However, you cannot upload images directly from Fluent Boards to OneDrive Business.
Files can be uploaded to the cloud server by using the WP Media Library.

Please note that our WP Media Folder plugin is based on the default WordPress media library.
Its main function is to provide virtual folders for more efficient media management within that library.

Cheers,
